Teaching numbers or alphabet sequencing can be a fun and engaging experience. Try this simple game that you and your child can enjoy together using number cards/ alphabet cards and printable playmats. To complete the activity, players (you and your child) will need to reveal the numbers/ alphabet in the correct sequence. This means, you and your child will have to remember the position of the numbers.

For younger children (around 3 years old) or beginners, start with the 9-grid playmat printable and use just a few numbers, such as 1-5 OR alphabet, such as A-E (based on your child’s learning ability). As you continue playing, you can gradually add more numbers/ alphabet, one at a time.
